The BLOQ Siren produces an alarm of up to 130 dB. It is designed to attract attention and help you make a lot of noise when you feel unsafe.

Because 130 dB is extremely loud, never activate the Siren close to your own or someone else’s ears.

Simply pull the pin to activate the alarm. The Siren will immediately start making a loud sound and the LED light will activate.

To stop the alarm, insert the pin back into the Siren.

When fully charged, the Siren can sound for approximately 90 minutes in total if continuously activated.

In an emergency, however, the goal is to attract attention as quickly as possible, so hopefully you’ll never need those full 90 minutes.

We recommend testing your Siren once a month.

Our tip? Make it part of your routine and test your BLOQ on the first Monday of every month when the public warning sirens are tested in the Netherlands. That way, you’re less likely to forget.

Pull the pin briefly to check that the alarm and light are working properly, then insert it again.

We recommend regularly checking and charging your Siren, especially if you haven’t used or charged it for a while.

A good habit is to check the battery during your monthly Siren test.

You can recharge your BLOQ Siren using a USB-C cable. Make sure it is sufficiently charged before taking it with you.

Charging time can vary depending on the charger you use. We recommend charging it for 30 minutes.

Yes! Your BLOQ Siren is reusable and rechargeable. After activating it, simply put the pin back in and recharge the device when necessary.

Keep it somewhere you can reach immediately.

We recommend attaching it to the outside of your bag, keys or another easily accessible place. An emergency Siren isn't very useful if you have to search through the bottom of your bag first.

Rules regarding electronic devices and batteries can vary by airline and destination. We recommend checking the current rules of your airline before travelling.

And make sure the pin cannot accidentally be pulled while your Siren is inside your luggage. Trust us, that's one alarm you don't want going off mid-flight. ;)
