Set up your Siren Pro for Android

Follow the steps below to set up your Siren Pro device.

Bluetooth connection

  1. Go to your phone's settings and enable Bluetooth.
  2. Press and hold the side button on your The Siren Pro until you hear a beep. Your The Siren Pro is now discoverable.
  3. In your phone's Bluetooth list, select "SOS Personal Alarm" to connect.

SOS Settings

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android's Home screen.
  2. Tap Safety & Emergency, this may vary by brand
  3. Enable Emergency SOS, your phone will now call emergency services when triggered.

Add your emergency contacts

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
  2. Tap Safety & Emergency (or search "Emergency contacts" in Settings).
  3. Tap Emergency Contacts.
  4. Select a contact from your list.
  5. Repeat to add more emergency contacts.
  6. Tap Save to confirm.

What happens when you activate the SOS function

  1. After the alarm sounds for 10 seconds, your phone automatically calls the emergency number.
  2. An automatic message is sent to your emergency contacts.
  3. They receive a text message letting them know you triggered an emergency alert and that they are listed as an emergency contact.
  4. Your location is shared via a Google Maps link in the message, with continuous location updates.

Location Sharing

  1. Your emergency contacts receive real-time location updates as you move.
  2. Every 4 hours, you'll get a reminder that your location is still being shared.
  3. You can stop sharing your location at any time.

Last banner: When you activate The Siren Pro, it sends a signal to your phone via Bluetooth, which immediately triggers the SOS function, alerting your emergency contacts and sharing your location.

Note: This feature requires an active Bluetooth connection between The Siren Pro and your phone. The Siren Pro works internationally and automatically uses the local emergency number of the country you're in, as long as your phone and network support it.
